My husband and I met Michael Skay at an open house he was having. We immediately hit it off and knew we wanted to work with him. I used Michael Skay to sell my house. Mike was the best realtor I have ever worked with. He made the entire process run smoothly. He heavily promoted my listing on social media and did teasers of “coming soon.” When my listing went live, I had three showing requests booked within two hours. My listing was trending on all of the real estate sites. One of those showings was booked for the night my listing went live and I got an offer from that person, that night, for $10k over asking. Yes, you read that correctly!!! My house sold the same day it was listed for $10,000 over asking! I should also mention he suggested I list my house for $10k more than I intended to. He got me $20k more than I was originally expecting. After the house was sold, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and there were issues getting county/township inspections and certifications. Mike and his team were on top of it and got everything taken care of. We didn’t have any delays in settlement. I didn’t need to worry about a thing. Everything was signed digitally and he talked to me about everything that I was signing and explained what they were. It was easy. He knows what he is doing and thinks strategically. He helped me get my house prepared for listing and was quick to answer the phone when I had questions or concerns. I would even call him for advice on the home I was buying in another state. He even called my sellers realtor to clarify questions about the selling of my home. He didn’t need to, that was the responsibility of the realtor I was using to buy my new home. But he knew I was concerned so he offered to help. Another think that made Mike unique as a realtor is that he used to work in mortgages. He understood the process and was better at answering questions for me than my lender! As someone who always has questions (in case you couldn’t tell by now!), he was invaluable. He is a one-stop shop. It is like having an amazing realtor, project manager, and customer service person wrapped up in one person. If you don’t use mike to buy or sell a home, you are doing a disservice to yourself. I would highly suggest you use him.
Mike was great to work with. He was very responsive to any questions that we had. Mike was also very informative since I am a first time home buyer. He was able to give us some of his thoughts on our new build home since he had been through this before. Overall, Mike was a pleasure to work with and I would use him in the future as a real estate agent!
